“PRORIV!” fights for the liberation of Arshinova and Zelinskaya

The reaction of International Youth Corporation and People’s Democratic Party “PRORIV!” to the arrest of the leader of the Corporation Alena Arshinova and the head of the personnel department Valeria Zelinskaya by Moldavian policemen and officers of Information and Security Service was immediate.  Within an hour after the arrest the activists of “PRORIV!” came to the walls of OSCE with slogans “Set Alena Arshinova and Valeria Zelinskaya free! ». Then the activists of “PRORIV!” arrived at the office of Pridnestrovian Patriotic Party, where they hoped to meet Alexei Ostrovskiy, the deputy of Russian State Duma, and inform him about the incident. But the Russian politician had already left, and there was only a short discussion with the leaders of the Patriotic Party Marina Smirnova and Igor Ivanenko. But in the course of the discussion the leaders of the Party did not show their interest in the incident. Then the young people went around Tiraspol chanting “Set Alena Arshinova and Valeria Zelinskaya free!”. The leaders of “PRORIV!” note that this incident shows that the use of force becomes popular in Moldova. It is no doubt that it will seriously damage the negotiations between Moldova and Pridnestrovie, which started in 2008.
