On the threshold of a popular holidayof the youth - Halloween, Russian orthodox church have once again warned about its provocative character and have reminded of a divergence of this holiday with traditions of domestic culture, informs the Interfax.

This day children dress up in suits of monsters and go to neighbour's houses, demanding sweets. The dean of faculty of psychology of the Russian orthodox university of a name of apostle John Bogoslova priest Andrey Lorgus considers, that «for our country the Halloween is something absolutely stranfe. It has come from marginal environments into another marginal environment, where it got accustomed among teenagers whose nigilistic moods have a negation stage of everything».
Besides the priest has underlined, that «it is the provocative holiday aspiring just to cause shock among population. It basically a holiday of teenagers which beat banks».
